This could be us, but Girl, Bye.

The Sun is in the sky. Unicorns are flying by. Dandelion don’t front. Spring is here. And so am I. I haven’t blogged in the last two months; since the end of the Winter season pretty much kicked my ass (frozen solid, long-distance love, occupational shenanigans, etc.)

I basically became a #GHOST. I admit it. Good things did come out of this #ghost period:  I was able to go to a couple clutch concerts: Kelela & Sam Smith and I saved some type of money AKA didn’t spend like the usual AKA didn’t have to work the pole to pay rent.  Most importantly, I have been able to spend more time with my family; specifically my MOM. Yes. THe woman who has giveth me life and can only make me wonder,”Can Xanax can be dispersed in a PEZ container?”  I spent a lot more weekends at home this Winter to just chill the fuck out, relax and eat a dope meal for free ( It’s not even mother’s day and I am feeling all Boyz2Men and trying to serenade yall with my feelings).

Leaving NYC for a weekend or two seems horrendous when you first get here due to F.O.M.O (fear of missing out), but it can definitely recharge the concrete-jungle battery enough to deal with NYC on the daily or at least riding the 4/5 to and from work…

Now that it is Spring, forget dem hoes. I am ready for my water ice, peep toe shoes, and seasonal allergies. A couple of concert pics:

Little Dragon (my favorite band) has a new album coming out and I am super hype about it: Nabuma Rubberband. Their first single is Klapp Klapp and they are performing at Terminal 5 on June 20th. Assemble your crew and find me there.
